I am a sports photographer and editor passionate about capturing the drive and intensity of teams and players both on and off the field.

About Me

My journey as a sports photographer has been an exciting, rewarding and unforgettable experience. In college at the University of Oklahoma, I was thrown into an editorial role as a second semester freshman at the OU Daily, and during my sophomore year I was in charge of the entire visual team during football season. Being on the field at the College Football Playoff at the Rose Bowl opened my eyes to what I wanted my future to look like. That first full season inspired me to work hard to improve my skills so that I could eventually reach my goal of being on the sidelines as a professional photographer.

After my junior year at OU, I was given the opportunity to move to Los Angeles for the summer and be the photo intern for the NFL. I will never forget the excitement and pride of being recognized for my work at a professional level. That summer was full of promotional shoots, behind-the-scenes photos and training camps with NFL players. Being trusted with NFL photography when I had just turned 21 gave me the confidence that I could handle the world of professional sports.

Going into my senior year, I knew I wanted to prepare my portfolio to apply for internships with NFL teams by the end of the year. I was lucky to land an internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers before many opportunities were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Even with the abnormal circumstances surrounding the 2020 season, I could not have experienced a better internship to start my career. Finally getting to experience a "normal" season in 2021 fueled my passion even further. Spending two years learning the ins and outs of a NFL team, shooting games and practices, editing game shots, shooting a full media day and working with the social media team has been an amazing opportunity and has prepared me for my hopeful next step of joining an professional sports team as a staff photographer.
